Birthhouse of Mario Vargas Llosa

Peruvian novelist Mario Vargas Llosa, one of the pivotal figures who ignited a global boom in Latin American literature, has died aged 89.

This sad reason made me remember that I haven’t written about my visit to his birth house yet.

He was born in Arequipa and I visited and of course I visited his museum when I was there. It’s a short but thorough representation of his life. They use recordings, letters, pictures and videos to show some episodes of his life. In General I liked it, however I thought 30 Soles were a bit too much for it. Visiting the birth house of Gabriel García Márquez was for example free.

One more little negative comment. I think they shouldn’t play movie adaptations. It’s vaguely related to his oevre and most importantly I don't like spoilers.
